Bob Schwartz is a Solutions Director for Inspirage, with over 22 years of experience in the PLM space. He has broad and deep experience in Life Science and High Tech markets, and has been a featured speaker at Oracle events.
At the start of his career, Bob earned a BSME from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and went on to work as a Design Engineer for Texas Instruments and Black & Decker. As part of his role in releasing products, Bob began to automate the process of managing engineering change, stumbling upon a fledgling industry which became PLM. After joining Workgroup Solutions in 1992 he began selling, implementing and customizing PDM. Several years later he co-founded Aras PLM, building an entire PLM platform from the ground up. He joined Agile in 2005 as a Product Manager and transitioned to a pre-sales role at Oracle when they acquired Agile in 2007.
